Before I joined the course, I was working as a consultant surgeon with all the traditional open surgery. I wanted to pursue my career in the field of laparoscopic surgery at the same time, I was also inclined towards starting my own hospital in Egypt after returning from the USA. During my search for the best institute to learn minimal access surgery in the USA, I came across the World Laparoscopy Training Institute, the USA, which was one of the very few institutes that provided Hands-On training and an opportunity to do live animate lab exposure to learn practical tips of laparoscopic surgery. The reputation of the World Laparoscopy Training Institute was also good among all career advisors, hence my choice was very easy.

After this great training opportunity my skills drastically improved and I developed a strategic way of going about ergonomics and task analysis of Minimal Access Surgery, all became real concepts to me that I now apply every day within my professional career. There are fundamental concepts that my surgery is now based on that emanated from my studies at the World Laparoscopy Training Institute, USA. By the time my course was finished, I was all about trying to add value to whatever I was doing.
