Cholecystectomy is the treatment of choice for symptomatic gallstones because it removes the organ that contributes to both the formation of gallstones and the complications ensuing from them. Sometime titanium clip can migrate Inside the lumen of cystic duct it acts as a niddus for the deposition of bile pigment and then formation of stone. After cross section of these stone the clip inside it looks like cat eye. Ligation of cystic duct is one of the way to stop this complication.
