Dear Sir, My concern is if I join the course Will you be maintaining Social distancing during course? How we will seat in lecture theatre and in OT and in the Wet lab during dissection? I am afraid about COVID19 infection |

Dear Dr. Hemlata We have one of the largest HD laparoscopic lab of the World with 25 HD working station. We will also maintain the social distancing in the lecture theatre as our auditorium has a capacity of 100 doctors and keeping COVID 19 in mind we are taking admission of only 20 doctors in one batch so in lecture theatre also we will maintain social distancing. In our operation theatre, we are keeping the following precautions. 1. Use of Laparoscopic Smoke Evacuation System 2. Disposable surgical caps 3. Medical protective mask (N95) 4. Surgical shield uniform 5. Disposable medical protective uniform 6. Disposable latex gloves 7. Full-face respiratory protective devices 8. Powered air-purifying respirator Laparoscopic surgery during a pandemic comes with multiple threats for the surgical team. Therefore, it is crucial to take measures for the safeguard of colleagues, family, and friends. Although these measures are going to increase the cost of surgery for the well being of health professionals, this is necessary. |
