Dear Dr Soe The course is designed in a way that before evry OR procedure theory of that topic will be covered. Learning a high standard of laparoscopic operative skills is essential procedure wise but fundamentals should be focused on laparoscopic suturing and intracorporeal knot tying for manual tissue approximation, tissue dissection etc.. The course curriculum is designed in a structured way that after the course surgeon and gynecologist should be able to perform these procedure them-self on their patients. Task analysis and ergonomics of each and every procedure will be discussed first followed by practical session. Emphasis is given on: Improvement of eye-hand coordination Proper ergonomical principle of tissue-handling techniques Techniques for laparoscopic suturing and intracorporeal knotting techniques Demonstration of instrumentation, laparoscopic equipment Laparoscopic equipment settings and surgical field arrangement Managing complication and reinforcement of good habits A comprehensive approach to laparoscopic surgical skill development is the essence of course of World Laparoscopy Hospital for both fundamental techniques as well as nuanced execution. Fluently choreographed movements will be achieved by surgeons and gynecologist after taking this training. Participants work at individual training stations with state-of-the-art clinical laparoscopic equipment and instrumentation.
