RESEARCH
1 APRIL 2005 Comparison of single dose ceftazidime and metronidazole with single dose ciprofloxacin and
metronidazole as antibiotic prophylaxis in elective caesarean section
2 This study found a favourable odds ratio in favour of ceftazidime and metronidazole in reducing postoperative
morbidity in elective caesarean section. This was submitted to Pondicherry University, India as a part of my
curriculum to obtain Masters Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
