Dear Dr Susan Versapoint is an electrosurgical generator, whereas Versascope is a Hysteroscope. Both these product are from Ethicon company so there is resemblance in Name. Versascope has only 1.8mm diameter and has good clarity and illumination. It has 90° field of view for a wide panoramic view of the uterine cavity and 10° deflected sheath design expands field of view permitting peripheral visualization and operative access area and improving visualization of the uterine cavity. Versascope depth of field from 2 mm to infinity provides sharp, in-focus images from closeup to panoramic view. GYNECARE VERSAPOINT System is a electrical operative hysteroscopy system that operates in normal saline. This product is also from Ethicon. This system is used for the resection of different intrauterine pathology like myomas, polyps, intrauterine adhesions, uterine septa and benign conditions using advanced technology that operates in normal saline. |

Versascope does not last long. It bends from the shaft and break too easily specially in nulliparous women with tight cervix. |
