Dear Dr Chanchal Gupta For right sided 6 cm dermoid cyst you should stand left to the patient and follow the baseball diamond concept. After introducing the telescope touch the center of cyst by telescope by the tip of the telescope and then touch the anterior abdominal wall. From that point of anterior abdominal wall either side port will be 18 cm away. Roughly it will be one port in left iliac fossa and one port right side in the same line of telescope approximately 7.5 5 cm lateral to the telescope. If you want ipsilateral port than one port 7.5 cm lateral to the umbilicus in left side and one port in left iliac fossa 7.5 cm away from the second port. If you have problem please refer to my lectture of ovarian cystectomy by going to this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=4FwbHDGXd9s With regard Dr R K Mishra |
