Dear Dr Nafisha Please keep in mind that augmented reality laparoscopic surgery is at present in the experimental stage ant it will take at least a decade to become this practically available to us. Using real-time stereoscopic camera technology now available for conventional laparoscopic surgeries, we have developed a novel visualization capability called stereoscopic augmented reality (AR). A very good article regarding this is on the SAGES website Please go through this and you will get a lot of information about this technology. I am giving you the link below. https://www.sages.org/meetings /annual-meeting/abstracts-arch ive/stereoscopic-augmented-rea lity-for-laparoscopic-surgery/ |
