Hysterectomy is the removal of a women's uterus and there are many reasons why it may be necessary. Some of the reasons why it may become necessary to perform Hysterectomy are Uterine Prolapse, Uterine Fibroids, and cancer of uterus among many others.
Laparoscopic Hysterectomy offers many advantages over traditional open surgery which includes faster recovery time, less chance of complication and smaller incisions among many others.
