Dear sir I am 35yrs male,my job nature is to have a medical check every year and my last check the FBG was 120 then i made it again after a week FBG 117 post2hrs 143 hb1ac 6.13,after a month it was 112 fasting and the normal range written is 110 fasting I had a very low carb diet and my weight decreased From 78 to 66. Then i went to another lab and try again the test fasting was 105 2hrs was 116 but hb1ac was 6.4 and after a month i did it again fasting 93 and hb1ac 6.6 i didn't make 2hrs. my doctor said to me that i am prediabetic. i read in the internet about the OGTT i made it after a 3 weeks from the previous test and the result was fasting 104 (70-105) 1/2 hr 207 (110-170) 1hr 128 (120-170) 2hr 89 (70-120) 3hr 69 (70-120) My hb1ac was 7 I also i want to tell you that when i see a doctor or face any critical situation my blood pressure and heart rate raises very high (160/110) pulse 150 ppm but normally by pressure is varying from 115/70 to 130/85and heart rate 76 to 90 ppm..my doctor gave me indral 20. when i went to the doctor he said that this unstable sugar reading from stress as stress can make this.but he told me to continue my low carb diet and to maintain my weight 66 and gave me a drug galvus met 50mg/850mg one a day at launch. By the way i am testing my Blood sugar randomly was many time between 110 to 115 and at morning read from 86 to 93 using the home meter alot of time was always in the normal range my height is 179 cm. thx hope to tell me if i am a diabtie or not and if it the drug is dangereous or not. |

Dear Mr Ahmed In our opinion you are over reacting for your blood sugar. Dont get that mush stress. Keep your Blood Sugar to normal just by dieting and do exercise. At present there is nothing to worry about. With regard R.K. Mishra |

Dear Aryan, Sugar consumption will not directly cause either type. However, eating too much can cause weight gain. Obesity is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes.Once a person has diabetes, eating too much sugar can make symptoms worse, as diabetes makes it more difficult for the body to manage blood sugar levels. |
