I joined 1 year Master in Minimal Access Surgery at World Laparoscopy Hospital and now I feel this was one of my best decisions to come here, a long-distance from Tehran and Dr. R.K. Mishra my mentor here has bestowed me with best of his knowledge. He is indeed a great doctor & teacher. Dr. J.S. Chowhan, a very compassionate doctor who also became my guardian through the learning process. World Laparoscopy Hospital has one of the best animal labs in the World to do research and education. The dry and wet lab session under the supervision of Dr. Chowhan was an excellent experience.
All the O.T. staff of World Laparoscopy Hospital is very cooperative well friend & good behaved. Dr. R.K. Mishra has taught me the importance of patience in improvising surgical skills. He is also a great teacher & keen surgeon. I have utilized my knowledge & skills to the fullest while working with Dr. Mishra. I could see many differences from what is followed at World Laparoscopy Hospital and other hospitals. I have learned the correct principle of access techniques, Dissection Techniques, All type of Suturing and Knotting and tissue retrieval techniques. On top of that, we also got exposure and Hands-On of DaVinci surgical robot. During the Master course infact we started teaching the Diploma candidates and this has given us teaching experience also. We have also done surgery on real patients with the consultants of World Laparoscopy Hospital. This definitely gives me more confidence. I definitely believe in the fact that “surgery is not just butchering, it’s an art and skill & number of cases seen or done does not matter but the way you do it what you learn. I want to give special thank to administration especially Ranjan and Shashikant, who has really arranged everything so well that my stay here was smooth & everything timely completed. At last, the hospital provided, what promised. Thank you, for choosing me as your student & I’m lucky to have you all as my mentor. Reply Dear Dr. Banafsheh H.R,

World Laparoscopy Hospital is one of the best centers if anyone wants to Master Minimal Access Surgery. This is the first Institute in Asia which has started this MS University Program. I have been trained in Basics as well as advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery.
During my MS in Minimal Access Surgery program, I also learned upper and Lower GI endoscopy and ERCP. From basic workup os access technique, suturing techniques, dissection techniques, to the management of surgical patients is very important. In this reputed institute of Minimal Access Surgery, I came to know that each skill of laparoscopic surgery is so important that without understanding the basics, we can’t approach the diagnosis and appropriate surgical treatment. Dr. Mishra is one of the best Laparoscopic Surgeon in India and it can be seen in his working attitude. Dr. Chowhan is a jack of all trades, from surgery to Gynecology every branch, besides which he is also a wonderful teacher. All the faculties are a marvelous, meticulous and refined endoscopic surgeon. It’s a never say no for him, no matter how complicated the case. I understood the basics of Minimal Access Surgery and learned that without understanding all types of suturing and knotting we cannot understand what tissue approximation is being done to the patients. With the support of all staff and doctors were able to do training in a very good way and have now simultaneously started my own practice. So, all in all, I would simply label this hospital as an excellent center for training in Minimal Access Surgery Postgraduate Degree Course. Reply Dear Dr. Garima Gupta, It’s encouraging to hear such beautiful comments from someone like you. We are sure you will continue to make us proud, and your achievements in life will always encourage us.
Thank you! Team World Laparoscopy Hospital |

Pursuing a postgraduate MS in Minimal Access Surgery degree of Singhania University and getting trained at World Laparoscopy Hospital for that University Master degree program was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The International MS in Minimal Access Surgery program did not only offer fascinating courses in laparoscopic and robotic surgery but also provided an environment that facilitated individual and group learning as well as taking initiative during the complex surgeries. The professors were approachable and always ready to help with whatever question I had; they inspired me to do my absolute best in the field of minimal access surgery. Throughout the year, I learned a great deal about the various fields in laparoscopic and robotic surgery but what made all the difference to me is the encouragement of critical and analytical thinking. Thanks to the combined help of all the staff, the amazing learning facilities on campus and the plenty of extracurricular activities, I had an eventful year full of challenges and fun. I am ready to dive into the world of work but will always be grateful to my Professor Dr. R.K. Mishra for my education.
Reply Thank you so much, Dr. Daniel! It is very nice of you to say all those kind words for our institute and this course. It will give us encouragement to work hard and serve humanity in a better way.
Thanks Again Team World Laparoscopy Hospital |

I have been extremely fortunate to have found an M.S. in Minimal Access Surgery post-graduate program of such quality that is as flexible as World Laparoscopy Hospital. The initial 3-month clinical module was fantastic to have practical experience. During this 3 month, I got a lot of Hands-on experience in minimal access surgery. We had a daily roster in Wards, Exposure in operation theater and skill development in our dedicated lab. I learned all the essential principles of laparoscopic and robotic surgery during this first 3-month clinical module.
After that during my preparation, if the dissertation and research classes are posted on the internet the same day they are recorded on campus, which allows off-campus students the opportunity to stay current with the class. As a Gynecologist, my schedule sometimes includes long work weeks and is oftentimes dynamic and unpredictable. I stand overnight duty as a ready resident and often times being out of the country for a few weeks at a time. Professors and World Laparoscopy Hospital staff have been flexible to accommodate me at every possible chance. They are available on a daily basis through email and can be reached easily via telephone, homework can be scanned or faxed to WLH, and solutions are often made available on a class website. As long as there is an internet connection available, I have been able to keep up with the surgery webcast through the OT of World Laparoscopy Hospital. Initially, I was a little unsure of how smooth this 1 year Master degree program would run. I continue to be impressed with the quality of education I am receiving at WLH. Professors take just as much time and show the same concern they would for on-campus doctors who work for clinical Hands-On for first three months. Academically, I have been challenged to stretch my job of the registrar in Gynecology and had a lot of postgraduate expectations. Although there are unique challenges with a research curriculum such as additional time spent studying, susceptibility to falling behind easily, and limited access to other students, WLH Professors understand these issues and work to accommodate the individual student. I would strongly recommend this program to any working professional interested in pursuing a postgraduate master degree in Minimal Access Surgery, World Laparoscopy Hospital can accommodate any work schedule. Reply Dear Dr. Serene Juhraji,
