RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds to get news delivered directly to your desktop! To view one of the Snowboarding Magazine feeds in your RSS Aggregators
RSS is a way of providing content to the user's browser or desktop in an efficient way. By using RSS feeds, the user can stay updated on the news from World Laparoscopy Hospital and other news sources with very little extra effort. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are normally provided in three ways: Training, Treatment and Research with excerpts and full text feeds. World Laparoscopy Hospital provides you with the headlines with excerpts version for free. Of the multiple RSS formats that exist today (RSS 0.91, RSS 0.92, RSS 2.0), World Laparoscopy Hospital supports only the 0.91 specification for now. We implemented separate Members RSS Feed for a few reasons, but mainly because it was easier than using HTTP authentication. Easier both for us, development-wise, and easier for members, in terms of actually subscribing to the feeds. Last June when these feeds debuted, several popular RSS aggregators didn't support HTTP authenticated feeds, or, if they did, it wasn't obvious how to subscribe to such feeds.
