Wearing a face mask is one of the simplest, most effective ways to slow the spread of the virus, but we need everyone to do their part to keep our state safe. That’s why we are asking all Hoosiers to mask up — and speak up about how wearing your mask can save lives.
Help stop the spread of COVID-19 -- wear a mask! According to the CDC, if everyone wears a mask, over the next 4-8 weeks we could drastically reduce case numbers. So even if you feel fine, #MaskUp to protect yourself and those around you. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the globe, the American Medical Association is launching a public health campaign called #MaskUp focused on encouraging the public to wear masks. It works to debunk myths and misconceptions around mask usage rooted in science and equips physicians with simple tools to help patients understand their risks for transmission.
