Excessive sweating of the palms, known as palmar hyperhidrosis, can be challenging, but there are several treatment options available:

Antiperspirants: Over-the-counter or prescription-strength aluminum chloride antiperspirants can help reduce sweating.

Iontophoresis: This treatment involves using a device that passes a mild electrical current through water and into the skin's surface to reduce sweating. It may require multiple sessions for effectiveness.

Botox Injections: Botulinum toxin injections can block the nerves responsible for sweating. This treatment is effective but may need to be repeated every 6 to 12 months.

Medications: Oral medications, such as anticholinergics, can help reduce sweating, though they may have side effects.

Microwave Therapy: This procedure destroys sweat glands using microwave energy. It can be effective for palmar hyperhidrosis but may have some downtime.

Surgery: In severe cases, a surgical procedure called sympathectomy can be performed to cut the nerves that trigger sweating. This is usually considered a last resort due to potential risks and side effects.

Lifestyle Modifications: Wearing loose clothing, using absorbent powders, and managing stress can help mitigate symptoms.
