She had a laparoscopic surgery in 2008, after that she was fine but she was facing heavy problems with gas. Her belly was always hot and that time she wasn’t sleep, even couldn’t eat something. One month earlier she had an vernal hernia operation. |

Dear Mr. Karim Please let us know that for which surgery (Onlay Mesh or Inlay Mesh repair) by laparoscopy was performed on your patient and which type of mesh was uses then only we can say what is the cause of this gas formation. However, postoperative gas formation is not uncommon for few month after ventral hernia surgery. If there is no obstruction you should not worry about. |

In 2008 gallstones had removed from my mother by laparoscopy surgery. Last month inlay mesh repair operation had made in my patient. (prolene mesh) is used in that operation. |

It could be due to adhesion. Now a days Dual Mesh should be used. Please get one contrast CT done to rule out bowel adhesion. |
