Dear sir, My wife is pregnant of 4 and half months. after having sex with her i lay rest on her body. i mean parallel face by face. My question is whether there is harm in doing so to the baby because my body lays on her abdomen and the lower part. should i avoid doing so now or after some time? 2ndly My wife is pregnant and her hymen layer is still unbroken. there is no problem in sexual intercourse and the penetration takes place easily. would there be any harm during delivery or i should break it in any way. please advise me in this regard. thanks for your kind advise.

Dear Mr. Bilal
Absolutely you can have gentle sex during pregnancy. Having a normal pregnancy, you can preserve doing it till your wifes waters break. However, in certain Indian communities, it is common to avaoid this and to follow the maneuver to her parent’s home for delivery. It is thought that sex during the last couple weeks should be avoided as it can certainly induce preterm labour.
The violant sex should must be avaided and you should never try to break any hymen or anything do yourself vaginally without asking your gynaecologist.
With regards
Sadhana
