I have been married for almost 3 years now, been having irregular menstrual cycle and failure to conceive. I am seeing a local gynecologist in my area past 6 months. Did all the necessary tests to check fertility and seems like everything is normal except for the polycystic ovaries. Well past 3 months he had kept me on Clomiphene Citrate (CC)50mg (5tablets per month)to see if we lucky enough to conceive..well we werent that lucky this time. On our last visit to the doc, he advised about Laparoscopic ovarian drilling. It raised some issues in my family and i am realy not sure if we should go ahead with the procedure because of the few factors that arose, one of them being costly as well as assurance of the results. Kindly advise on the treatment procedure, cost and effectivesness of this treatment in India.

Dear Sofiya Khan
If Clomiphene Citrate fails the Laparoscopic Ovarian drilling is the good option you should think about. At our hospital bilateral ovarian drilling wil cost you 35,000 rupees as complete package.

With regards
Sadhana
