3/5/2011 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN MEDICAL REPORT FOR MISS ELIZABETH Miss. Elizabeth was seen at the Nobel Clinic today with her partner Mr. stephen with a history of symptomatic uterine fibroids and dyspareunia. She came with an ultrasound scan report showing multiple uterine fibroids and hydronephrosis. Patient is 38 years old and her periods are regular lasting about 5 days in a 28+/-1 day cycle. Physical examination revealed a 30-week sized uterus and a rigid hymenal membrane. Her pelvic ultrasound scan revealed an anteverted uterus with a regular outline measuring 122 mm × 80 mm, about five intramural fibroids measuring about 8cm. Ovaries and endometrium were not clearly defined. Our working diagnosis is symptomatic uterine fibroids and the treatment we recommend is myomectomy and vaginoplasty. We are at your disposal should you require any further information from us and I wish the couple every success. Dr. Raynold FRCOG CONSULTANT GYNAECOLOGIST |

Dear Anisha It would have been great if you could send her USG report. In fibroid case size matter and you have not mentioned about her symptoms. But as she has received her menopause Total laparoscopic hysterectomy will be the treatment of choice in this rather than removing individual fibroid. |
