Hi, I was diagnosed with Ovarian cyst in my right ovary with the cyst measuring 5.7x4.5x3.8 cm. The ultrasound describes the cyst as - The right ovary is enlarged with a cyst measuring 5.7x4.5x3.8 cm with some internal echoes. The cyst showed more diffuse low level internal echoes in the prior ultrasound. This could represent a haemorrhagic or endometriotic cyst. My doctor suggested a laparoscopic cystectomy for removal of the cyst. I am 28 years old with no kids. Can you suggest if I should go for the surgery or if the cyst can be managed by medication? Thanks |

Dear Pushpa Kumari, Thanks for your message. Laparoscopic Surgery is ideal treatment for these type of cyst and even for endometrial cyst surgery is the best option. If you will not get this cyst removed it can affect your fertility. Our hospital is specialized in these type of laparoscopic surgery and we can perform your surgery if you want. The complete package of surgery would be 40,000 rupees in your case of endometrial ovarian cyst. With regards Sadhana |
