I had a liver biopsy. I had some mild discomfort trying to sleep. I took a percocet for pain relief because it was left over from dental work and all I had. Could it cause a complication with the biopsy? |

Dear Timmopel Percocet contains a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen. Oxycodone is in a group of drugs called narcotic pain relievers. Although if you will take only one dose of percocet, there is no problem. Percocet can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Liver function will derange if you will take this medicine for long time. With regards Sadhana |
