I got sight when i was 10 year old with +0.50, but gradually its increased for every 2 years(apprx) and now i am having +8.5 in right eye and +7.50 in my left eye. Dear Mr Prassanna Hyperopia is a condition where the eye does not focus images onto the eye. People refer to this condition as being farsighted. High Hyperopia is associated with prescriptions greater than +8.00 diopter and can go as high as +60.00 diopter. Eyeglasses for High Hyperopia are still very important. Even though many high hyperopes wear contact lenses, eyeglasses are required before going to bed and upon waking. If you wear glasses regularly it is OK. With regards M.K. Gupta |
