is it advisable to do surgery for my child? which pedia surgeon do u recommend? i live in the philippines, but i can go to los angeles also. thank you |

Dear Irene Paraesophageal hiatus hernia (PEHH) is an uncommon type of diaphragmatic hernia in the pediatric age group. Preoperative assessment included chest x-ray and CT scan. We suggest that laparoscopic repair of PEHH in infants is safe and preferred mode of the treatment.
