SIR, I AM a 54, year old male paediatrician,residing in Meerut,UP,having a supraumbilical Hernia,for last 5 years.The bulge,3 in x 3in, is reducible & does not cause much pain.No belts have been used.I am a constant badminton player & would like to go for a technique which prevents any recurrence & does not cause a long term pain.KINDLY let me know whether i should go for conventional mesh placement OR laparoscopic ; and also in GA or Spinal. THANKS A LOT FOR THE VALUABLE TIME AND ADVICE GIVEN.
