Dear Leslie Loofbourow

Myomectomy is the surgical removal of fibroids. When performed by an expert gynecologist, it is a safe and effective procedure which can be accomplished with minimal blood loss.

When the operation is performed with optimal technique by a highly experienced gynecologist, the need for blood transfusions is limited to very few cases.

Likewise, in an expert's hands, it is rare that a myomectomy is converted during surgery to an unplanned hysterectomy because of uncontrollable bleeding.

The gynecologic surgeon who has extensive experience with laparoscopic myomectomy is able to remove all fibroids regardless of their location in the uterus.

The successful myomectomy should result in resolution of all symptoms related to fibroids and the reconstruction of a uterus with normal size and shape, capable of withstanding the stresses and demands of a full-term pregnancy.

In your case you should come with all the report to us or you should consult any good laparoscopic gynecologist of your country for surgery. Please keep in mind that your if your age is reaching near menopuse then it may not necessary to do surgery as after surgery fibroid generally srink in size.

With regards
