Hi Doc. I m 30 yrs old. Since past one & half yrs I m having pain in lower abdomen, left side. the pain starts from the 14-17th day of my period cycle & remains till my periods start. The pain attacks are pathetic & unbearable. Even as the days pass I feel dull, non-energetic, dizzy & feverish. I also have intense back & leg pain at days. No other problem during periods or any other of that sort. My USG reports say - "Multiple Hypoechoic fibroids seen in myometrium. Anterior wall 13, 11,12 mm posterior wall 10mm & fundal wall 11,13 mm." No painkiller works. We even want to plan a child but this pain is a real big hinderance. What is the remedy - do I need to go for laproscopy or there is any other easier solution? Please help & guide. |

Dear Kavya You have multiple fibroids and it may be the cause of pain. However the fibroid are small in your case. The good news is that with the monitoring modern technology enables, the great majority of pregnant women who have fibroids give birth to healthy babies. With regards J S Chowhan |

Thanks Doc. But what is the remedy for this unbearable pain. How to get rid of it ? Is there any medication or the only solution is Laproscopy ? Please reply soon... because my pains have started... You can try few medicines with the advice of your gynecologists. You can try some GNRH agonist also. |
