I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at 9 weeks. I wanted to miscarry naturally. I waited until 12 weeks and decided to have a d&c. This was December 2011. I continued to bleed and had a second d&c in January 2012. The pathology showed it was not products of conception but was just that my cervix or uterus had not closed fully and had retained blood. Since the first d&c I've had abdominal cramping. It feels like menstrual cramps. It typically happens daily. Scale of 1-10 it's only about a 4. I also have pain with orgasm and tailbone pain. I've had two transvaginal ultrasounds done. One showed I have a bicornuate uterus. I'm 30. I have a 5 yr old. I've never been told this before about my uterus. I had a laparoscopy done in September that came back fine. I just had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done yesterday that showed it is nothing bowel related. I think the only thing that has not been checked is my bladder. I'm so frustrated. It's been a year of pain and I can't seem to find why. Do you have any ideas what else this could be?

Dear Teri
You are writing one USG showed Bicornuate uterus but you did not say second USG and laparoscopy has confirmed the bicornuate uterus or not. If you are thinking something in bladder then cystoscopy has to be done.

We will advise you to get one MRI of uterus done and upload all your reports to our website so that we can give you some good suggestion.

with regards
