Dear Sir The first two months were fine took meprate for 21 days and within 1 day periods started,but then in the 3rd month i took meprate for 17 days and on day 18 the period started.The doctor told me to stop meprate. The periods are heavy...not sure if i was on the right treatment...why did the period started after 17 days while i was taking meprate...Pls advise what to do... |

Dear Gayatri Sometimes on hormonal treatment for DUB the breakthrough bleeding occurs. Anyhow the progesterone pills has to be discontinued once the menstrual cycle becomes normal. You please consult your gynecologist for further advice. Thanks With Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
