Hi,my gf have 6 types of high risk HPV's and there are no changes in cells nor infection in her. I was active with her in deep kissing , oral and unprotected sex for 2 times from past 3 months. What are the chances of me getting this HPV's. How can i confirm if am having it please educate me regarding this. She is my 1st partner and am afraid of getting infected. What could be the extreme level it can lead and how can i stop this passing to others and also protecting myself from this. Am worried about oral cancer and what are be the earlier symptoms? .Thank you . Guys beware of HPV |

Dear Shaps Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a DNA virus from the papillomavirus family that is capable of infecting humans. Like all papillomaviruses, HPVs establish productive infections only in keratinocytes of the skin or mucous membranes. Most HPV infections are subclinical and will cause no physical symptoms; however, in some people subclinical infections will become clinical and may cause benign papillomas (such as warts [verrucae] or squamous cell papilloma), or cancers of the cervix, vulva, vagina, penis, oropharynx and anus. In particular, HPV16 and HPV18 are known to cause around 70% of cervical cancer cases. More than 30 to 40 types of HPV are typically transmitted through sexual contact and infect the anogenital region. Some sexually transmitted HPV types may cause genital warts.
