Hi,
My mother is of age 48 and is having a little discomfort in stomach with lot of burps after having meal.
After diagnosis it is found that there is gallbladder stone of 8mm in USG scan.

Doctor advised to undergo laparoscopic surgery, but I would like to know if there is any alternative way to get rid off the stones without surgery?

Like change in diet or medication or exercises?

Regards,
Waseem.

Dear Waseem,

Your usg report state that your mother have a stone in the gall bladder.
You need to go for the surgery for this laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the surgery of choice. There is no alternative way of this surgery shoud be done for this. It is done by making 3 4 incision in the abdomen through which the camera and the instrument is passed and the surgery is carried out. After the surgery the patient can ed a normal life

Dear sir,
Mere maa ki pit mai 15mm ki stone hai doctor na bola isko operation karna padaga sir please iss problem ko solution batada.

Dear Bilal

You mother is suffering from gall stone. A gall stone is a stone formed within the gallbladder out of bile components. The term cholelithiasis may refer to the presence of stones in the gallbladder or to the diseases caused by gallstones. Most people with gallstones (about 80%) never have symptoms. In 1–4% of those with gallstones, a crampy pain in the right upper part of the abdomen, known asbiliary colic, occurs each year. Complications of gallstones include inflammation of the gallbladder, inflammation of the pancreas, and liver inflammation.
You need to go for the surgery to get rid of it. Laparoscopoc cholecystectomy is the surgery of choice. In this the small holes are made in the abdomen through which the instrument and telescope are passed and the surgery is carried out.

Dear Neha
The symptoms of gall stone are
Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the upper right portion of your abdomen.
Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the center of your abdomen, just below your breastbone.
Back pain between your shoulder blades.
Pain in your right shoulder.
Nausea or vomiting.
You need to get an ultrasound done if you are having symptom and yes Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the surgery of choice in Gall Stone.
