I had my lap chole on 1st December , had stapled and removed on 11th December , that Time doc checked n said it's fine u can go home, After I got bck home in 2hrs like I could see thin clear transparent liquid flowing thru my belly button , , I just bloated it with tissue paper, 3-4 times tht day , then next day also same thing but got yellow puss a bit n blood too, then same day I went nearby compunder to have it check n he checked and mentioned it is an infection. He then did dressing by pressing belly button area to have puss flow out, and provided antibiotic for 5days with name m-colixin, so please tell me if everything fine n is it recommended to use antibiotic pills.

Dear Akhiesh

Yes it can be a infection and if infection is there than you need to take the full course of antibiotics. But you need to take care that the infection does not stay for the longer time if it persisits and is not getting heal than it can lead to the atypical mycobacterium infection so you need further treatment and consult the doctor.
