USG STUDY OF PELVIS BY TVS

Iam a 45yrs married woman . Recently I have bleeding contunue for more than 15 days contuneous , but no H/O pain.

On USG study of pelvis by TVS , Uterus measured anteverted in position, regular in outline and bulky in size. Myometrial echotexture is homogeneous & normal. A subserous fibroids is seen in posterior myometrium measures 29*22mm. Few intramural fibroids are seen in fundal region measure 42*38mm, 48*40mm. Endometrial echoes are compact, hyperechoic, thickened and measuring 19 mm thickness. Cervix is normal in size & echotexture.
Uterus measure 102 *67*60mm

Rt ovary normal, No free fluid seen in POD
Lt ovary not visible

Dear Udita

It seems that you are having multiple fibroid problem. You will need to go for the surgery for this. But you have not mention about your obstetric history, so that we can decide which surgery will be better for you. Laparoscopic or Hysteroscopic Myomectomy or total laparoscopic hysterectomy considering your age.
