Hi, This is Priyanka here. My Cousin is only 22yrs Old. She Just got married on 25th October, 2017. But after 3-4 days every 3rd day she had unbearable stomach pain and vomiting. When Checked, The Doctor said she has got urinal infection, Gas Problem and a cyst on a Ovaries. The details in the report is as below: Ovaries: Left ovary do not reveal significant abnormality. Right adnexa shows a large round echoic mass measuring about 4.6 x 4.1cm with peripheral vascularity. Pancreas: Head and body visualized, Tail is obscured by bowel gas. Normal in size and echotexture. Pancreatic Duct not dilated. No obvious focal lesions/ Calcifications. Her periods day was on 13th till yet she hasn't got it. And doctor told if she is unable to bear the pain then we have to remove her one ovary please suggest |

Dear priyanka She might have been having cyst that can be causing the problem. You need to go for the surgery for the removal of the cyst. Laparoscopic Ovarian cystectomy is the surgery of choice. In this procedure the cyst is removed and the ovary is preserved. With Regards Dr Rahul |
