Dear Doctor My wife has undergo LAAM myomectomy 34 days before on(03 September 2018) but since just after surgery my doctor was hiding something which we felt something is not normal. He was also making lame excuses for giving us Video CD of operation. my wife is having pain in left side of stomach since then. now we have done Ultra sound few days back and report says that there is still Lesion approx 7cmx8cm. but my doctor is still hiding and saying its inflamation. we are very much concern and confuse. please help me advise me for the right direction. ultra sound report Uterus is anteverted and appears bulky (126mmx 72mmx 38mm ) with architectural distortion of fundoposterior wall of uterus with the presence of heterochoic intramural lesion predominantly hypoechoic with few intralesional cystic area within. Focal small calcification also seen within the lesion. Mild intralesional vascularity noted. Lesion is broadly and asymmetrically indenting endometrial strip anteriorly with abutted posterior endomyometrial junction. Possibility of following differential to be considered- Residual uterine leiomyoma/ ?? inflammatory granulation tissue (post operative) Lesion is measuring approximately 85mm x 70mm Thanks and Best regards M.M.Rahman Dear Mr Rahman You may send the pre operative MRI/Ultrasound pelvis report to us and after comparing the two reports any opinion can be given. More over if it is inflammatory Granuloma it may take upto 3 months time to resolve. Thanks Dr Chowhan |
