Findings Urinary bladder is adequately distended and reveals normal walls. No calculus or mass lesion is seen. Uterus measures 10.2 x 4.6 x 5.1 cm. It shows normal myometrial echogenicity. A fibroid of size approx. 16 x 15 mm is seen in the anterior wall appears abutting the junctional zone. A large fibroid of size approx. 9 x 8 x 5.6 cm is seen in relation to the fundus of the uterus on the right side possibility of subserosal fibroid. Endometrium measures 6.5 mm. The cervix appears normal. Bilateral ovaries are normal in size and stromal echogenicity. Right ovary measures 3.2 x 1.2 cm. left ovary measures 3.0 x 1.4 cm.

I have pain lower abdomen intermittently. There is heavy vaginal bleeding and I feel pain also during menstruation. I don't want to get a hysterectomy done as my family is not yet complete. I want more baby. I have one daughter only.

What is this report saying and what should be the treatment?

This Ultrasound says that you have a large fibroid of 9cm in size and there is a small anterior wall intramural fibroid. The ideal treatment of these fibroids is laparoscopic or da Vinci robotic myomectomy.
