I was facing severe acid reflux, chest pain, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. I consult my doctor, who prescribed me antisecretory drugs like Omeprazole, lansoparzole and levoprade but symptoms remains there. Then after endoscopy he diagnosed grade-II hiatal hernia and advised to continue the medicine. I am using these medicine from last five months but symptoms like heart palpitations are aggravating day by day. I also consulted cardio physician who after doing certain test like ecg etc diagnosed that i have no heart propblem. My routine life worsning day by day. What I should do, I need expert advise from you. Presently i am residing in Pakistan.

Dear Mr, Javaid
In this situation you need surgery (Fundoplication). Before going for surgery you need some more investigation like oesophageal manometry and pH Monitoring. Please try to take less meal at night and try to keep upright position after meal for some time. Proton pump inhibitor you should continue.
