Gall Bladder's Laproscopic surgery

Sir/Mam ,
my father's gall bladder stone were surged by a laproscopic surgen on 01/03/2011, he told that there wer pus at the place of stone in gall bladder and he had cleared it. but after 4 days my fater were suffered from pain in shoulder and fever .Pain in shoulder is disapeared but fever is not ending. docter is saying may be it is due to pus. hemogram test,maleria test,chest x-ray are normal acording to docter. my father's age is 56.
sir please help me about this problem.
