post laparoscopic appendectomy

just had laparoscopic appendectomy two weeks ago and i am feeling better now but i know the body still needs to heal inside that's why i would like to ask how long do i have to wait until i can resume jogging or lifting more that 15 lbs.just to be safe.thank you |

Dear Jefferson Recuperation time following laparoscopy is six weeks. As with any post-operative recovery, it is important to always consult your surgeon who has performed the surgery. |
