This month i am confused, i had a 27 cycle in Jan, in Feb i only got a cycle of 25 days this is where is the confusion starts.
On the 4th of march i thought it was my period but it was a very light brown period that just barley touched the pad that only happened for a few hours then stopped then started only getting a brown discharge on wiping on the 5th then never had nothing since.

I took a test on the 8th and it was negative and another one 15th negative as well.
Any way the confusion started that i got the usual bloat two weeks before my period, but this time it has not went down and the bloat has got firmer and my breast have grown slightly too.

I am even struggling to fit in to my jeans because they are too tight now to ware, i even get like a pulling pain just above the pelvic bone area and occasional twinges in my breast and stomach. I am also more tired at the moment too.

I am concerned it could be hormonal or phantom pregnancy if thats possible. Oh i am 34 year old and lost my last pregnancy at 5 weeks in march 2010. So i know it nothing to do with that.

A couple weeks on and still gaining weight, i now cant fit in to any of my clothes, i have jumped from a size 8-10 to a tight fitting 14 in 6 weeks, which is not normal i usually struggle to gain weight.

I done a test a week and half ago and still negative now i am 3 days late. I really don't understand what is going on now.
I have been more hungry and need to sleep more at times, if i over do it in one day i get stomach cramps. If the test says negative and i am convinced now i am not because of the test's, i will need to find out whats causing this now. I cant get a gp appointment for 3 weeks

Dear Denise

We can understand your problem and distress which you are going through. You should keep in mind that in these condition you need examination by a good gynecologist. Your complete hormonal assessment as well as one abdominal ultrasound is required. False pregnancy Phantom Pregnancy or hysterical pregnancy, most often termed pseudocyesis in female, may be the appearance of clinical signs and symptoms related to pregnancy once the person or animal isn't pregnant. Clinically, false pregnancy is most typical in obese patient or nulliparous. False pregnancy in humans is less frequent, and may be purely psychological. It's generally estimated that false pregnancy is caused due to alterations in the endocrine system of the body, leading to the secretion of hormones which translate into physical changes similar to those while pregnant. The actual cause is often mental
