Dear Anju Balan Undescended testes are associated with reduced fertility, increased risk of testicular germ cell tumors and psychological problems when the boy is grown. Undescended testes are also more susceptible to testicular torsion and infarction and inguinal hernias. To lessen these risks, undescended testes are often brought into the scrotum in infancy with a surgical treatment called an orchiopexy. You should contact a good pediatric surgeon to get this surgery done. Wishing you a good and faster recovery for your Son. With regards Sadhana |
