fibroid removed

Dear doctor i did a laparoscopy surgery and they removed two fibroids one of them is 6ยท5x7 in size. Surgery was done on 5th feb. 2011, yesterday i saw my surgon because i still feel pain then she recommended to do ultra sound test, the report said that minimal free fluid noted adjacent to right ovary. is this case dangerous or normal and how should I treat this? ? Dear Sawsan After any pelvic laparoscopic surgery up to few week minimal fluid adjacent to ovary or in cul de sac is very normal finding. You should not worry because within few week this fluid will get absorbed. Wish you faster recovery. With regard Sadhana |
