my wife was sufferring from loose motion from two month and i was consulted to MD and he gave her medicine but after taking medicine the problem was not solved . Again i went to doctor for the same problem he told me to do ultrasound of the upper abodomen where in ultrasound the impression was cholelithiasis in gallbladder multiple echoreflective substance are seen in the lumen of gallbladder and the doctor pescribed me for operation again when i consulted to surgon told that she is getting loose motion he told me that there is no relation between loose motion and gallstone firstly you solve the problem from MD then do the operation of gall stone . So , sir i am in confusion that what i will do . plz help me without operation it will be solve or i have to do operation. and is there is any relation between gall stone and loose motion . patient age is 30 years plz help me |

Dear Brij kishore prasad There are article published showing Gallstone causing malabsorptive diarrhea. It is possible that your episodes of diarrhea could be linked to the gall stones, but could equally be related to inflammation in the stomach. In many situation Therefore the stones are likely to be the cause of the other symptoms you describe associated with gastritis and reflux oesophagitis, but can be linked to severe pain just below the ribs on the right-hand side. Gastritis can aggravate diarrhea indirectly. In any case we will advice you to get laparoscopic cholecystectomy done. With regards Sadhana |
