I am very serious about bringing my wife to India before end of October 2011. Therefore, I need more information. My further questions are:- 1. Please explain in detail the procedure for Laparoscopic hysterectomy. We need to know whether there will be any incision in the vagina. 2. Can uterus be removed though laparoscopic holes? 3. Are there other options is available to minimize damages to other organs and at the same time have a painless and quick recovery? 3. What would the cost of the surgery? 4. What would be the cost of accommodation for 2? 5. Can we speak to a specialist surgeon who will be doing this? My telephone number is +679 9995541.Please call me anytime. or you may forward me the number for the specialist and we will call today. Regards, Surend Singh |

Dear Surend Singh We can perform surgery by total laparoscopy. Laparoscopic hysterectomy is an alternative to abdominal hysterectomy. The gynecologist is able to remove the uterus, cervix, and ovaries through tiny abdominal incisions. These incisions are typically about a quarter of an inch. The laparoscope allows the gynecologist to examine the reproductive organs within the abdomen prior to performing the hysterectomy and determining whether or not the ovaries should be removed as well. Like in an abdominal hysterectomy, the cervix may be kept when a laparoscopic hysterectomy is performed. With hysterectomy being one of the most commonly performed surgeries, the development of laparoscopic hysterectomy greatly improves patients |
