cholecystectomy

my mum has had laprascopic cholecystectomy 24 hrs ago but is vomiting and has pain where the incision was on her right side,have asked the nurse and was told they are administering nausea medication.I am very worried that there is complications

Dear Janine
It is common to have little vomiting and pain at incision site after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. It should be alright within 72 hours. Please tell your mother to have some patience. If vomiting is more ask your doctor to give some anti emetic medicine and some analgesics.
