Dear Doctor I had irregular periods for long time. But i came to know that was pcos in 2011. I got married in 2010. Not get conceive after my marriage, so my doctor suggested to go for lap ovarian drilling & finally completed the surgery. Now my health condition is normal & good. No pain as of now, just completed my periods after the surgery. My question is, will my periods get normal after this surgery? Will there are any chances that cyst may form again? When is the right time that i can conceive? What kind of foods i should have now? Kindly waiting for your reply. Thanks Manju |

Dear Manju Sometime recurrence of cyst is their so you should try to get conceive as soon as possible. PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome, is a common hormonal disorder in females that with interferes with the growth and discharge of eggs in the ovaries, or ovulation. It's the most typical reason for infertility among women. PCOS is the place a woman's body overproduces sex hormones, called androgens. The hormone imbalance prevents fluid-filled sacs within the ovaries from breaking open and releasing mature eggs. The fluid-filled sacs bunch together, causing many tiny cysts. The signs of PCOS include missed periods, abnormal facial and the body hair growth, acne, and weight gain. PCOS might run in families.
