A complex cyst in left overi

As i am afraid as in my ultra sound report it is written A complex cyst measuring 3.5 cm most likely maligntant. will it be cured wid medicines or will be remove by laproscopy |

Dear Mrs Suniti Sahni The danger for developing ovarian cancer seems to be affected by several factors. The more children a lady has and also the earlier in life she gives birth, the lower her risk for ovarian cancer. Certain genes defects (BRCA1 and BRCA2) have the effect of a small number of ovarian cancer cases. Women with a personal history of cancer of the breast or perhaps a family history of breast or ovarian cancer come with an increased risk for ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer symptoms are often vague. Ladies and their doctors often blame the symptoms on other, more prevalent conditions. By the time cancer is diagnosed, the tumor has often spread beyond the ovaries. Surgery such as a pelvic laparoscopy or exploratory laparotomy might be done to evaluate symptoms and perform a biopsy to help make the diagnosis. No lab or imaging test has have you been shown to be in a position to screen for or diagnose ovarian cancer in its early stages. So in our opinion you need to get your biopsy done by laparoscopy. Surgery is used to treat all stages of ovarian cancer. For earlier stage ovarian cancer, it may be the only real treatment. Surgery involves: Removal from the uterus (total hysterectomy) Removal of both ovaries and fallopian tubes (bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy) Partial or complete elimination of the omentum, the fatty layer that covers and pads organs within the abdomen Examination, biopsy, or removal of the lymph nodes along with other tissues in the pelvis and abdomen Surgery performed by a professional in female reproductive cancer can create a higher rate of success. Chemotherapy can be used after surgery to treat any remaining disease. Chemotherapy may also be used if the cancer comes back.
