Recently our family been to a pilgrimage about 3 months ago.Since then my son 3 years old started getting regular attacks of cold(flu)with fever and had been on antibiotics.everything got normal when one day he stated to cough severly with running nose.He was again put on antibiotics along with bronchodilator and prednisone steroid(given for 5 days). The symptoms subsided but we could observe some of its side effects.then onwards he started developing cough(severe especial;y during sleep lying on bed and just after getting up from bed).During day time everything seems normal(very very little cough)or sometimes without any cough,no running nose or nasal drip or fever. We have been using all kinds of cough syrups but in vain.He sleeps in air conditioning room.PLSSSSSSSSSS HELP |

Dear Sukaga Coughs are one of the most typical symptoms of childhood illness. Although a cough can sound awful, it is not often a manifestation of a significant condition. In fact, coughing is really a healthy and important reflex that helps protect the airways within the throat and chest. You should get your child examined by any pediatrician. Few investigations may be necessary to find out the exact cause of cough. With regards J S Chowhan |
