Fibroids n Cysts

Mt report says- An intramural fibroid measuring 5.0cm נ3.7cm is seen along posterior wall in body region. Another small intramural fibroid measuring 1.8cm is seen along fundo-posterior wall. Right ovary is bulky and shows two endometriotic cysts measuring 3.3cmנ2.8cm and 2.3cm נ2.2cm. Left ovary shows a small endometriotic cysts measuring 2.0cm נ2.0cm, I am 38 yrs old, my family is complete. Pls Advice |

Dear Jyothi In our opinion the cause of your infertility is not Fibroid uterus but the endometriosis of ovary. Please let us know in USG what they have written about uterine cavity. Is it normal. Endometriosis was once called the career woman disease because it was thought to be a product of delayed childbearing. The statistics defy such a narrow generalization; however, pregnancy may slow the progress of the condition. A more important predictor of a woman risk is if her female relatives have endometriosis. Another influencing factor is the length of a womans menstrual cycle. Women whose periods last longer than a week with an interval of less than 27 days between them seem to be more prone to the condition. With regards J.S Chowhan |
