Dear Madam

Uterine leiomyomas (myomas or fibroids) are smooth muscle tumors and are the most common type of pelvic tumors in women. Myomectomy is removal of the myomas, while leaving the uterus in place.

The surgery of fibroids is called a myomectomy. Laparoscopic myomectomy may be used if the fibroid is on the outside of the uterus. Intramural and subserous fibroids up to 10 cm across can be taken off by laparoscopic myomectomy, through two small incisions 10 mm long, one out of the umbilicus and the other a little reduce in the midline from the abdomen. Two smaller incisions only 5mm in length are created, one on either side of the abdomen about three inches in the midline.

Presently only a handful of surgeons within this country offer this process that takes considerably longer and it is tougher than conventional surgery. Aastha specializes in such kind of minimal invasive procedures. Fibroids that are deep in the wall from the uterus or submucous are most difficult to get rid of laparoscopically.

Today minimal invasive procedures have created a revolution in the world of surgery. This is because they cause less tissue-damage and scarring. Therefore the recovery is also faster. Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are two very common processes for removing fibroids (myomectomy).

Until recently, surgical removal of fibroids almost always involved a large abdominal incision (laparotomy) having a three-to-five day stay in hospital and six-to-eight week recovery.

The advantages of laparoscopic/hysteroscopic myomectomy are:

shorter hospital stay
reduced recovery time
reduced post-operative pain
smaller incisions
better cosmetic results

You can get this surgery done at WLH

sure give her to me. I call the humane sotiecy and told them I took her there. That darned board member is SCREAMING at me the next day on my cell phone. How dare I take the liberty of just rehoming a cat where I want that cat can be someones pet that cat was costly I dont have the authority I was going to be let go from my position (I am a volunteer never paid) She is demanding I give this cat back to them so I did. The cat attacked a worker, and a person interested in her, biting them severely. So the manager had her euthed and they just told me today. I AM SO TICKED OFF. I cant even see straight. I want to take them to court or do something I do plan to quit and make my own small animal rescue but I will have to contend with them. Does anyone have any legal advise? can I get reimbursed for the other 250 and can I get them in trouble for what they did to this cat?yeah I know the math seems funky, I forgot to mention the after care expense and the medication for ringworm that I had to get for her. Whoops sorry.. lol. Anyway I dont really want the money back but just looking for things to go after them for.Elaine your right, thats one reason I quit being the manager I couldnt deal with the drama, I handle animals just fine. The cat is not a True Feral. She is temperamental with situations. If she is not approached correctly thats what happens and she gives no warning. She is friendly and will rub on you, she will let you pet her and feed her, but if you pick her up or you are too forward she attacks with no growl no ear pining no hissing nothing. She bats your face and bites your hands. They were made aware, they were warned and when I brought the cat back to the shelter I made it quite clear how un happy I was and EXACTLY what to do. After that it was her biz. As a ex manager and agent I know how hard it would be to sue or do things illegally thought maybe others had some insight on what to do. I do not plan to work with them any longer. I will do my own or as you suggest work with a private rescue. I do plan to go to the Media and blow another one of their hair brained, unethical, dealdeals out of the water, that include a stray, a un-neutered police dog, lots of money and an un authorized euth Im not suppose to know about it but I do thanks to a tip from a worker there.
