i m facing big size fibroid i.e. 17x 14 cms in my abdemon, should i go for laproscopy treatment or for open surgery. |

Dear Mrs Arora You should get laparoscopic myomectomy performed. A myomectomy is definitely an operation to get rid of fibroids while preserving the uterus if myoma is symptomatic. For ladies who have fibroid symptoms and want to have children later on, myomectomy is the best treatment option. Please keep in mind that laparoscopic Myomectomy is extremely effective, but fibroids can re-grow.
