Dear Mathew Tucker
You should wait for these teat and if it is required go for laparoscopic surgery. The advantage of the laparoscopic approach is that it usually provides:

reduced postoperative pain
shorter hospital stay
a faster return to work
improved cosmetic result

Oftentimes, changing diet and taking over-the-counter antacids can reduce how frequently and just how harsh your symptoms are. Slimming down, reducing or eliminating smoking and drinking, and altering eating and sleeping patterns can also help.

Investigation required for GERD is Esophageal Manometry and dual probe pH monitoring before deciding surgery.
Patients with typical symptoms of heartburn and regurgitation should betreated empirically. Investigation is requires in patients with alarmfeatures dysphagia, odynophagia, weight loss, iron deficiency anemia and in patients with
persisting symptoms.

I am very lucky and happy to have this post. Thanks for the great info, new knowledge for me.. I would like to share my oponiin Causes of heartburn are different in each and every persons cases. One of the most usual heartburn causes is the rising of stomach acid coming back again to the esophagus. This is due to the muscle mass relaxation of the stomach entreasure that results to the opposite flow of the foods along with the stomach acid and also the digestive enzymes that goes up to the esophagus. Diet plan could be the most well-known cause of heartburn in men. Taking substances that have high levels of coffee like chocolates and coffee raises the possibility of heartburn.
